Nike Air Flight 89 Wolf Grey My Current Shoes

My latest trainers are these Retro Nike Air Flight 89. I first saw them when i went to London in August, we went to Nike Town and I was instantly attracted to these shoes. They remind me of the Nike Air Jordan 4. That is because these trainers are very much based on the Nike Air Jordan IV. When I was at school I remember so much wanting a pair of the black Air Jordan 4 pictured below.

My parents were never able to fork out the £100 + price tag even in 1989 so I never did get a pair of IV’s. The Flights though are the next best thing so after seeing them in London and not actually getting them. I spent the next few days kicking myself for not buying a pair. I did google searches to find a retailer who stock the Nike Air Flight 89 Wolf Grey Trainers. I finally found that Size? had a pair and that they had them in my local store in Bristol. I brought a pair and I don’t regret it for a second.

Nike Air Flight 89 “Wolf Grey” were released as limited editions. They are no longer available in the UK, although you might be able to find them still in some stores, or on ebay.
The trainer is in wolf grey, with a black nike swoosh also black midsole. The white laces give a nice contrast, and the nike visible air sole is white. Nike Air Flight branding on the tongue and heel.
